Delta Village Dental was founded in 2013 by Dr Tel Johal DMD with the vision of creating a dental practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. Dr Johal has been practising dentistry since 2005 and wanted his own office that he and his patients could call home for many years to come. The office staff at Delta Village Dental are highly-trained and exceptionally friendly. We understand that for many, visiting
a dentist can be a stressful experience. Our comfortable surroundings and compassionate dental professionals will ease your fears.

Dr Tel Johal DMD

Dr. Tel Johal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia. He graduated on the Deans Honour list and maintained his outstanding Student Initiative Scholarship.He then went on to pursue dentistry at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr Johal focused on all areas of dentistry during his training but was also involved with special research during his training that included endodontic fibre post systems and the ovate pontic technique for large span anterior bridges. Dr Johal graduated with honours and achieved the highest achievable status on all sections of the American National Dental Board examination.

Dr Johal currently enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is actively involved in continuing education. Dr Johal has completed continuing education courses in : Pedodontics, cosmetic restorations, endodontics and
orthodontics. Dr Johal has helped train graduating CDA's and is actively involved with the Community Dental Day program helping serve the underprivileged with free dentistry. Dr Johal is board certified by the
National Dental Certification Board, is a proud member of the Canadian Dental Association, and is certified by the Collage of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia.

In his spare time, Dr Johal enjoys hiking, electronics, driving, traveling and maintaining an active lifestyle all with the companionship of his loving wife, daughter and son.
